Evista Action Mechanism
Evista is an estrogen agonist/antagonist that acts as selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM). Binding of Evista to estrogen receptors results in activation or blockade of estrogenic pathways, thereby decreasing bone resorption and bone turnover and increasing bone mineral density.
